Here is a trick I picked up from my dad.

Tested on Windows 8.

1. Go into Device Manager.
2. Look for a tree item that has a name relating to network drivers.
3. Right click on your main network driver.
4. Click "Uninstall."
5. Without selecting anything else, continue uninstalling.
6. Wait ten seconds, then at the top bar, look for "Scan for new drivers."
7. If done correctly, your network driver should appear again.
8. Click on your wifi icon. (Located to the right of your taskbar.)
9. Find your network and sign into it.

You're fine Xera, even with your lag problem you're still more active than some of the other staff. Heck, my activity hasn't been all that great recently, mostly a combination of school and other games. Have you tried to verify your game files?

I completely understand not being able to play because of computer problems. Just take your time and work it out when you can. I'd offer suggestions, but I'm sure everything I could say you've already tried, besides sacrificing your computer to satisfy The Great Google God.
