With the recent “virus” on Garry's Mod, it has made me question the security of the game I mostly play. Even though the “virus” wasn't malicious in any way, the Face Punch forum did point out that it could have been easily been modified to access email, passwords, etc.. Since I don't want anything happening to my primary account, I was wanting to know if I could switch to a secondary account? I could get on with an owner(or similar) to revoke my operator powers on my current account, then re add them with my new account. I would keep the same name (|FP|[ℬ.] GamerG), and everything would be the same, just a different account.(Also, I am using my old pc for playing gmod from now on, since it doesn't have any personal data and if it were to become compromised, I wouldn't care as re-installations are easy.)

If you could just provide the SteamID to whoever's moving the powers, as well as log on one last time on your current account to have the powers removed from that one, I don't see any reason why this shouldn't be done.
There's also the option where if you just turn off the Cloud feature so no files are transferred for Steam and log into your current account on the other computer, should keep the powers as well as no need for any trouble. |

I'm pretty sure that powers can be revoked without needing to log into the old account.
