Tuesday, August 28th has been confirmed as the official release date of guild wars 2

i quit wow about 3 months ago and wow was the only mmorpg i played properly i left because it seemed like it was becoming too repetitive

i have been rather interested in guild wars 2 since watching the gameplay videos and i can't decide if i want to get it in case it will become repetitive like wow

should i get it? how does it stand out among other mmos? and if you have played the beta please tell me what you think.
