Borderlands, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Tropico 4, Civilization 5, L.A. Noire, Fallout 3, Half Life 1 & 2 & the episodes are all my favorite PC games

I very much enjoyed the STALKER trilogy.

STALKER - clear skies
STALKER - Shadow of Chernobyl
STALKER - Call of Pripyat

Shadow of Chernobyl was BY FAR the best. They are based on a post apocalyptic world... similar to FALLOUT without the stats... lots of missions to do around the main quest/objective/aim.
