Launching Garry's mod is a pain now. It has to validate the game files and for me, it takes about 20 minutes. If you cancel the process, does that mean you have a pirated copy? I get this too with Team Fortress 2, except it does it at random times, sometimes steam startup and sometimes after closing a game. No J0K3RZ, I don't have a pirated copy. I bought Garry's mod with Team Fortress 2, back when TF2 wasn't free. I tried restarting steam, it seems to never work. I guess I just have to deal with it.	Sniper4Life OFFLINE Platinum Boarder One of the worst snipers to date. Posts: 1088 Karma: 3
