I spent $10 on Rome:Total War Gold Edition. I was really far in the game, having conquered Carthage,Numidia,large portions of Spain, and a large amount of Egypt (Guess which family I was). Well after all this conquering I got tired and got off. This was two days ago and I experienced this popup whenever I try to play "Application Error"
"failed to find steam".
I tried reinstalling the game like 5 times and still encounter this whenever I try to play.

Can someone please help me?

Try this 1. Go to Computer 2. Click on Local Disk 3. Click on Program Files or Program Files (x86) depending on your Windows system 4. Click on Steam 5. Delete the ClientRegistry.blob file (Make sure you are not logged on Steam when doing this 6. Empty Recycle Bin 7. Click on Steam, it will update 8. Well sir have you tried copying the save files from there to a new folder and then delete everything? Thn it will do a completely new install?
