I'll put it as simple as possible.
Terraria. Yes or no? Note: I am aware of the whole global inventory thing. I am also aware of the ability of players to easily just download a map with all the items, and join as a god. I just want this for a bit of friendly 2D fun. We can sort out the idiots later... NOTE #2: I made a poll! XD plz use it unless u got something to add. EDIT: Depending on how this goes, I may work on making one for the community. It will of course be easy, but getting somebody to host it will be a problem. |

I'd like to see a Terraria server, would be fun.

Well thats the thing isn't it clocket? I would need to buy one. And if I'm to fork out that money, I need to know that it's going to be used!

Put the money aside for a second, The ability for someone to spoil the whole game by joining with the best of the best and able to build anything just cause of some editor people made.
If it was ever possible to force a new player to be created when when that player joins. That would be great. Atleast I'll be able to join every once in a while. But as I said, The inventory is a problem. |

I'm not Real.

Clocket suggested this in the past, But, I vote yes.
The thing is though terraria can be glitched so you can get like a million dynamite when you log in so they greif, If we made one of these we would need to disable explosives and greifing things. |
|
|
Well we could allow explosives, but I intend on trying to do some sort of inventory enforcer thingo. If any glitches are heavily abused, I may need all players to be staff on either the forums or some other server to be allowed on.
IMO that would be the best way to fight griefers without causing issues to legit players. And in the event that we get someone who isn't staff and should be allowed on through past good behaviour, we could have existing whitelisted players to "vouche" for that player, but of course we can cross that bridge later |
|
|
It would be very fun, only if we have enough staff tho because terraria is easy glitchable what attracts rulebreakers.

No, terreria is just 2D Minecraft.

Terraria and minecraft cannot be compared like that. Terraria has some, if not many things that minecraft does not, and vice versa. For instance, Terraria has jetpacks, altering gravity, realistic water, guns, a built in economy system, and bosses. Minecraft may not have these, or at least at the same amount/quality, but minecraft has enchanting, 3 dimensions, easier to build houses, a greater sense of freedom, mods, skins, computers, and herobrine. They both have their cons and pros, but never are they identical apart from their dimension count.
