I was wondering if it would be a possiblity to get a tekkit server or get the existing minecraft server into a tekkit server. Heres some valid points why we should get one in my oppinion.


1.Administration
Administration may take a bit more effort due to more items, but with the tekkit server, it comes with an item blocker to block certain items from being made and, you can block explosions with essentials protect. Admins might need to work a bit harder to make sure no one is breaking rules.

2.Not knowing how to use it
Its very easy to learn it either by doing it, watching videos, or just asking someone that knows a bit about tekkit.

3.Some abusive mods
There are some mods that are considered overpowered in tekkit. You can easily block the mod, just don't use it.

4. Tekkit seems to be more rewarding.
Tekkit has lots of new items and lots of new ores. Mining just seems amazing with everything you can find.

Tekkit is minecraft, with many preinstalled addons like Industrial Craft, Buildcraft, and equivalant exchange.

Tekkit is a great game and theres a lot of people who like it [like yogscast].

Me and my friend are thinking about buying a small Tekkit server and if we buy it, it will be for FP. I would not like to see the vanilla Minecraft server go to Tekkit because alot of people have problems starting up Tekkit.

Tekkit is pretty cool, but some of the mods used for tekkit haven't been updated yet.

Koala you're rushing into things a bit too much without even noticing that it's not an official FP server, all servers that are approved and official FP have their own forum category.

Perhaps try talking to Chute.

I'm glad another person wants to see this happen. However, my PC struggles to run Tekkit along with many other people's, so administrating for me and maybe other admins would become more of a stress.

For now, FPMC should stay vanilla but we may see things like PvP, for example, in the future.
