Well here it is, my new forum game!




In this game there are 5 types of people:



3 Goons

Cop

Doc

Assassin

14 Downtown Towns people

The cop investigates one player every night. If they investigate the right person(A Goon) said person will be killed(Removed from the game)

The doc can nominate one player a night to save. He can not nominate the same person 2 nights running.

The goons nominate a kill every night, they can communicate off thread

Assassin With no affiliation, just likes to kill people 2 kills throughout the game, wins the game if he is the last remaining roled player

The town wins once all goons are killed off and the goons win once they have a majority.

I will send all participating people a PM

At night I will take nominations from the Doc, Cop, Goons, Assassin in that order.

Please post votes and unvotes in bold e.g. vote Turtleand unvote Turtle

If you don't your vote will not be counted. No editing of posts with votes allowed, if this is done voting privileges may be removed.

You can bluff or lie about your role, but if you come out right and say you’re doc or cop etc you will be mod killed(I will proclaim you out of the game)

A lynch will happen when there is enough votes for the same person or a deadline has been reached. If deadline is reached but not enough numbers have voted the same person, the person with the highest amount of votes at that time will be lynched. If it is a tie I will devise a way of picking the winner.

Only players who have a team role are allowed to PM other players about the game. If you receive a PM from someone you are not supposed to please DON'T post it on the game thread, report it to me first. If you have any questions about the general rules post them on the thread, if you have a question about your role/power PM me and I'll try my best to explain it.

No PMs or chat in other threads or even in real life about the game unless you have a role which allows PMs to other players and then it can only be between the players you have been given by me.

No speculation is permitted on the thread during the night period, just the usual sorry I’ve killed townie type stuff. I will punish players who misbehave at night.

Dead people can post but if they say vote someone off or unsubtly hint for someone to be voted off, I will be forced to remove them from the game so just don’t do it please.

Finally I will Mod kill non posters and voters unless there is good excuse but will use my discretion(I will give an allowance of one non vote)

Remember this is just for fun, don’t try and take it too seriously!

First deadline will be 8pm on Friday night, with all roled players to have PM’s in by 9pm or you will lose your right to the night time activities. There will be no flexibility on this to allow the game to flow.

Please DO NOT begin voting until the sign up list is full as I will have to sort out PM's and teams

Ok I'm having difficulty understanding what this is. It seems like a forum version of TTT (trouble in terrorist town) which could be quite fun but it seems very complicated to me and reading it I'm thinking this could be made simpler.

Perhaps you could summarise this in a shorter post?

So there are 20 people in this game.

14 Downtown People

3 Goons/Gangsters
1 Cop
1 Doc
1 Assassin


Roles:

The Downtown people cast as many votes as they like before the deadline(Which I will declare by the word NIGHT!)
They must unvote a person they have voted before they can vote a new person
They must vote and unvote in bold e.g vote W!pe Unvote W!pe
People should use full names to make my job(As game Mod) easier.


Goons/Gangsters are the only members of the game who can communicate off thread. They will talk to one and other and decide who they want to kill(Instantly remove from the game)
They may also vote as this hides the fact that they are goons/gangsters.
They have an hour after deadline along with other roled characters to pm me there person they want to save/kill/investigate.


The Cop can choose to investigate one person per night and must pm me with their decision.
He/She may also vote
If a cop investigates a townie nothing will happen
If a cop investigates a goon said goon will be named and removed from the game
If a cop investigates the doc nothing will happen
If a cop investigates an assassin nothing will happen


The Doc may choose one person to save each night(Via pm'ing me) and may also vote
If they save a person who the goon/assassin choose then said person will not be killed
If they choose someone who hasn't en chosen then nothing will happen

The Assassin may make 2 kills per game(pm'ing me) and may also vote
They have no moral standing and may kill whoever they want.



"Winning" or "Bi-Winning" if you just so happen to be charlie sheen



The townies win once all Goons/Gangsters are dead/gone from the game
This Does Not include the assassin

The assassin wins when he is they last Roled player left (Out of cop/doc/goon)


The goons win once they have a majority over the townies and cop and doc, not the assasin

The Cop/The Doc cannot essentially win as they are on the same side as the townies



Night period and Dead Men Talk(DMT)

During the night period players may no longer vote and may talk as normal. They may NOT speculate on who someone is in game. Doing so will result in a mod kill(I will explain later)

DMT: All dead people must post in a fashion that shows their dead e.g wooooo Im dead wooooo (wooo is supposed to be a ghost noise ) Dead people may not speculate on who someone is in game.




Mod Powers(Me)
They mod may remove someone from the game if they
Say outright who someone or they are.
Do not post regularly or do not vote(I will allow one non vote per person and will use leniency for the non regular posting)
Interfere with the game in anyway



Also

They doc/assassin/cop may choose to not kill/save/investigate someone each night but the Goons MUST nominate a kill EVERY night


The person with the most number of votes at the end of the night will be killed.

I will write a short story thing about what has happened today(Who was killed/saved etc)
E.g

"All was quiet during this night until!
The goons were about to strike when there target was saved by The Doc! W!peout has been saved!
The Cop felt there was something fishy going on and decided to investigate...... AwkwardTurtle The Goon has been found out and jailed!
The Assassin remains quiet

The towns people have voted and.......... "Insert other name here" has been killed! To bad he was a townie......

And so another night ends"
