I have a fun little game to play. Think of any event in human history, and change it and write out the effects it has.
Alexander The Great lives. In this scenario, Alexander The Great's men didn't complain and Alexander went on to conquer South-East Asia. Alexander declared himself ruler of the world and divided his empire up into separate kingdoms, giving his most loyal men and his sons the land. These kingdoms still owed allegiance to Alexander. After Alexander lives a full life, he dies and his oldest son takes the throne. The empire goes on to last for some time. When the Romans arrive on the scene all ready to take over Greece, they fail miserably. Being the proud people that they are, they launch another invasion. This invasion fail horribly, leaving a dent in Roman pride. The Romans did manage to take Carthage and Numidia however. The Romans manage to set up what is the Western Roman Empire, but not having the massive Greek influences, do not manage to give us the sciences that they did. This is subject to change |

Winston Churchill's Operation Unthinkable is executed The operation is executed resulting in Russia being forced out of eastern Europe by allied troops on 1st July 1945, one month later of course the US bombed Nagasaki and Hiroshima so if Russia was to fight back i could see Moscow, Leningrad or Stalingrad suffering the same fate. The result would basically end the cold war just as it started stopping things like the Berlin wall, Cuban missile crisis and the soviet invasions of Czechoslovakia, Afghanistan and Hungary etc. |
