Reason for ban: Rude Jokes. (jk, 9/11 jokes are just PLANE wrong)

No offense to the staff, but this ban is absolutely pathetic. The 1 rude joke i made is nothing compared to what goes on in the server. I have a very vivid recollection of Zack( AN ADMIN ) saying " you cant corner the dorner "(chris dorner) , " you cant simmer the zimmer "(george zimmerman), WHICH IS NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL IN CRUDENESS from the type of joke i made.

Numerous times ive seen players make extremely crude jokes, anything from rape, sandyhook, 9/11, holocaust, suicide, murder, etc. And its very sad that I get banned for one minor joke.

Following my joke, Rusty Townsend made the joke "my dad died doing what he did best on 9/11. flying planes" if i did not mention that to the person who posted my ban request, rusty would have not received punishment.

Anyways, I apologized for having a crude kind of humor, but this happens all the time. What i think differs from what you think. what may be right for me, may not be right for you.

It doesn't matter if it was one joke or hundreds. It's still offensive no matter what. And the saying "simmer the zimmer" has been around for ages, before the George Zimmerman incident.

Jokes about death are never funny. Just because everyone else does it, doesn't mean you can. If you see other players do it, take screenshots and post a ban request.

But when he used it , it was on the night of the zimmerman trial, because there was a big conversation about it in OOC

Because if someone else does it, it suddenly makes it okay for you to do it? That just shows that you know that what you're doing is wrong. ._.

That person did it after I made my joke

The person who posted my ban request wasnt going to include that guy until i called him out on not posting it.

Hence he was targeting me personally.

I dont think its wrong to make a joke, what i think is wrong is that the government destroyed the world trade center and killed thousands of people
