Hey everyone,
It's been a while since I last posted here. For those of you that stuck around, you may remember me as one of the long-time Super Admins back when FP's HL2:RP used to run on CW instead of NS. I resigned after the last iteration of the CW server died, and didn't think the NS one would pick up steam (which it doesn't appear to have).

I decided to check in to see how everyone is doing. Browsing the forum, it seems that the Zarp migration was pretty real. I remember when all of FP's servers used to be super populated. Nonetheless, from what I've read, it seems a revival of at least the DarkRP server is planned and underway.

I did happen to join the FP NS HL2:RP server, but it appears to have been abandoned long ago, and is broken to the point where you're stuck on a loading screen with a few default settings. (See below image)



I don't know if anyone is planning to fix this, or even cares to.

Finally, I would like to re-extend my administrative capabilities and help back to Emp and Chute (and Seth if he's still here) if they decide they ever want to repopulate their HL2:RP server. I really miss all that we used to do, and the big community that we once had.

jk, welcome back m8. the database system fp was using just fucked with nutscript so hl2rp was rip.

I can tell you this.

Pretty sure the HL2RP is dead.
I think the entire serious roleplaying community is dead to be honest.
